May all the members of the group have a very Blessed Holy week keeping the

Passion and death of Our Lord, and the suffering of His sorrowful Mother in

their hearts, and a joyous and Happy Easter, the event that changed everything

forever!

The Lay Associates of St. Ann's Basilica would like to extend to all associate members, their families and friends, a special invitation to go on "pilgrimage" this year to the annual St. Ann's Novena in Scranton held at St. Ann's Basilica from July 17 to 26th. This annual event draws upwards of 100,000 people and is a great spiritual experience. This year we are encouraging the age old tradition of making pilgrimage which means visiting a sacred place in order to thank God for blessings received or to pray for special intentions. One doesn't have to travel to the Holy Land or Rome to make pilgrimage. Why not plan to visit St. Ann's at some time during this annual novena. Be assured that your group will be recognized at mass, your intentions prayed for and your presence a true witness of Passionist spirituality. Be assured of fraternal welcome from all our brother and sister associates in Scranton. Hope to see you there!

I never cease to be amazed by the grace and generosity of the people of God. There has been such a positive responose to the earthquake in Haiti. We are especially blessed to know that Fr. Rick Frechette is working with so many to help in some way to ease the pain those in Haiti have suffered. We will continue to pray and contribute to this cause.
