Borneo Island is known as a supplier of oxygen. The island has a very large forest. Natural beautiful, the rivers flowed beautifully. In the forest there are many rare animals and plants. Dayak tribe live here and have a strong relationship
with nature. Therefore the Dayak people have traditional ceremonies associated with nature (making offerings under the big trees). It is no wonder that their sick children do not go to the doctor but make a presentation ceremony under the tree). They believe that children are sick because there was interference with nature. Believe it or not sometimes the child can recover. Wow this is weird but that's the Dayak way of life. They are very loving nature. Before cutting down a tree in the forest before they make the traditional ceremonies. They requested approval to nature that if these trees could be cut down or not. Customs and culture, including very high. They have the carvings and paintings are extremely valuable. Wow I love Dayak. They loved all the people who come from outside the island. The ceremony has a traditional party and there we ate together, danced with traditional dance, drink the wine typical of Dayak people, sing folk songs. Ten years I lived among the Dayak people so I understand very well the Dayak way of life. Yes Cool ...
Life in harmony with nature and traditional ceremonies like this only a small part. Multi-national companies come to the land of Borneo and tear apart most of the forest there. They have eliminated customs and their traditional way of life. It is precisely the way they live like that by themselves they are saving our planet is suffering from global warming. How to live li
ke this is hard to find anymore. Life changed with the entry of multi national companies such as Palm Oil, Gold mining, bouksit, oil and others. There they began destroying the forest. Borneo known as oxygen product we just be a dream.
Is multi-national company can bring a progress in the land of Borneo?
Yes but only a small portion of society has relationships with multi-national companies, especially state officials, while the lower social classes are not considered. Many forests in the capture and Dayak communities only received a fraction while the multi-national companies get a larger share. The division is very unfair. Commission for Justice Peace and Integrity of Creation Congregation pasionis in Indonesia has been trying to work among the Dayaks and help fight for their rights. Yet justice is still far expected by the Dayak people. Many people are working to save the island of Borneo. Good luck ...
